I have a 2016 Mazda 3 and was wondering what everyone else had as a shift knob.
I had a TRD knob before selling my Scion tC and it was perfect. This one was the one I used.
I'm not really sure to begin looking for knobs because I got the TRD one from a friend.
Post your shift knobs and tell me some recommendations!
Lots of people have the JBR Racing knob, as do I. As far as function it is great and never gave me any problems...however even though it is powered coated I have wear marks and I only had the knob for a year.
My 3 is red, so I use a 3 ball! The thing looks GREAT, too. The deal to make them look right is, you have to use a real, actual pool ball. They have the right size and weight to make them functional, plus, a fake pool ball just looks that: fake.
I drive a ton for work, and used to drive even more. The most comfortable knob I used was a junkyard from a mid 90's Honda Accord. It fit my hand perfectly, was comfortable, and didn't get hot nor sweaty.
Now I've swapped it out with a machined aluminum knob, and while I wouldn't enjoy using it for a 4 hour drive through DC or Philadelphia traffic, an hour rip through the back roads and you can tell its designed for performance before comfort.
